DropInBlog Integration

DropInBlog is a straightforward integration. You only need three values from DropInBlog, then you connect them in Jottler.

What you need​

  • DropInBlog Public API Key
  • DropInBlog Private API Key
  • DropInBlog Blog ID

Important: API keys are shown only once when created. Save them securely before leaving the page.

Step 1: Create DropInBlog API keys​

  1. In DropInBlog, click your name in the bottom-left corner.
  2. Open My API Keys.
  3. Create both:
    • Public API Key
    • Private API Key
  4. Save both keys immediately.

Step 2: Copy your Blog ID​

  1. Go back to the API Keys page.
  2. Copy your Blog ID from the bottom of the page.
  3. Save it with your two API keys.

Step 3: Connect in Jottler​

  1. In Jottler, open Settings -> Integrations -> DropInBlog.
  2. Enter:
    • Public API Key
    • Private API Key
    • Blog ID
  3. Save the integration.

Step 4: Configure defaults​

After connecting:

  1. Select your default Author for Jottler-published articles.
  2. Select your default Category for publishing.

That is it. Jottler can now publish articles directly to your DropInBlog setup.

Troubleshooting quick checks​

  • Recheck key/ID copy-paste values (no extra spaces)
  • Confirm both public and private keys are from the same DropInBlog account
  • If keys were regenerated, update them in Jottler
